Moving into a new home can feel overwhelming—but it doesn’t have to. Last month, the Stay Golden team packed, moved, unpacked, and organized an entire home from start to finish. With thoughtful systems, quality products, and our signature golden touch, we helped this family settle in with ease. It was a full-service transformation that turned moving chaos into calm—and we’re excited to share a peek behind the scenes!

Our clients reached out about three weeks before their move, and since we had already organized every space in their previous home, helping with the new one was an easy yes. While we’ve never officially offered moving services, we were already planning to pack—and with Goldie (our trusty van) ready to roll—we figured, why not? With the help of our amazing team of organizers, we packed and moved everything (except the furniture) in just two days.

Handling the packing and moving ourselves made the unpacking and organizing process so much smoother. We spent four full days getting everything in place—unpacked, organized, and styled—then came back for a quick wrap-up session to finalize systems and tie up loose ends. We’re so proud of what our team accomplished in a short amount of time, and even more excited to see how effortless the move-in felt for our clients.

Now for the fun part—let’s take a closer look at some of the key spaces we organized and how we brought function and flow to each one.

kitchen

The kitchen was a major upgrade in both size and storage compared to our client’s previous home, and we had so much fun designing a system to match. We focused on creating a layout that not only supports smooth day-to-day flow, but also leaves room to grow as they add new cooking and baking tools over time. To keep things looking as good as they function, we custom-ordered black bamboo drawer organizers to match the interiors—because the inside should feel just as beautiful as the outside.

pantry

This walk-in pantry was such a fun space to plan—especially with the chance to incorporate black organizing products that tied in beautifully with the overall aesthetic. We loved working with the mix of closed cabinets, exposed drawers, and open shelving to create a layout that was both functional and visually striking. Appliances were tucked neatly behind cabinet doors, snacks were organized in easy-to-access drawers, and everyday cooking staples found a home in matching bins on the open shelves—making the space as practical as it is pretty.

Laundry room

Though often overlooked, the laundry room got the same care as the rest of the home. We created easy-to-use zones for cleaning supplies, laundry essentials, medicine, and a dedicated spot for the dogs' gear. Now it’s a functional, tidy space that feels calm and organized.

Master closet

Our clients partnered with Inspired Closets of Tulsa for a stunning master closet design! With ample storage—especially those shoe shelves coming in clutch—and elegant backlighting, every item was beautifully showcased. The island added even more storage with its many drawers, making the closet as functional as it was gorgeous.

master bathroom

Everyone starts their day in the bathroom, so we made sure it’s a calm and happy place the second you step inside. With everything having its own spot, getting ready in the morning is a total breeze for our clients—and to have that happen for them the first days of staying there made it extra special!

garage

Your garage is the first thing you see when you come home each day and when moving, it typically becomes the catch all for everything that you don't know what to do with! Our friends at Inspired Closets also designed & installed this garage system before move-in making it so easy for us to organize from the start!
